Is Cresco Real Estate Legit? Here Is How to Check

Do not take our word for it. The Dubai Land Department publishes the register and anyone can search it. Here are the exact steps, the numbers to type and what you should see on screen.

On 22 October 2026 the Dubai Land Department public list of licensed real estate brokerage companies held 9,977 companies. Searching it for Cresco returned exactly one record: Cresco Real Estate L.L.C., office number 34288.

That check took under a minute and costs nothing. You can run it right now, on this company or on any other Dubai brokerage that has asked you for money. This page shows you how, tells you what you should see, and is equally clear about what the register cannot tell you and what we do not claim.

Check one: the brokerage

The Dubai Land Department publishes every brokerage company RERA has licensed. It is a public page. There is no login and no fee.

  1. Open the Dubai Land Department list of licensed real estate brokerage companies.
  2. Type the company name into the Search by Name box.
  3. Read the record that comes back.

Typing Cresco returns one record. It reads Cresco Real Estate L.l.c, Office Number 34288, with a registered contact address at the company domain. The office number is the ORN. If a brokerage gives you an ORN that does not match the name on this list, stop there.

Check two: the individual broker

A licensed company can still put an unlicensed person in front of you. The broker card is a separate record and it has its own public lookup.

  1. Open the Dubai Land Department e-card verification service.
  2. Set Card Type to Broker Card.
  3. Enter the card number and press Validate.

Entering 59655 returns the holder name Umer Shauket Shauket Pervez, the company Cresco Real Estate L.L.C., an issue date of 15 May 2023 and an expiry date of 23 February 2027. Check the expiry date. A card that has lapsed is not a current licence, whoever is holding it.

What we do not claim

This matters more than anything we could claim, so it goes above the good news rather than below it.

What the register cannot tell you

How to check any Dubai broker

The same two lookups work on every brokerage in Dubai. Run them before you send money to anyone.

We wrote the longer version of this as a developer check in how to verify a Dubai developer before you wire money, and the escrow and build status side in the developer escrow check.

Method and limits

What was actually done. On 22 October 2026 we opened the Dubai Land Department list of licensed real estate brokerage companies, recorded the total record count of 9,977, searched the name Cresco and recorded the single result. We then opened the Dubai Land Department e-card verification service, selected Broker Card, entered 59655 and recorded the result. Both services are public and neither requires an account.

The counts move. The 9,977 figure is the total on the day. Licences are issued and lapse continuously, so the number you see will differ. The Google rating and review count move for the same reason. We date every one of these rather than presenting them as fixed.

The Dubai Land Department service pages describe the e-card check as an app service. The web form at the address above worked and returned the result quoted here on the day of writing. The Dubai REST app offers the same lookup if the web form is unavailable to you.

Company figures are not audited. Transaction value, deal count, agent count, partnership count and the American client total in the table above come from our own records. They are not published by any registry and you cannot verify them from a public source. They are labelled as company figures for exactly that reason.

No testimonials appear on this page. A trust page built out of quotes we selected ourselves would prove nothing. Everything that can be checked independently is above, with the steps to check it.

General information, not advice. This page explains how to use public Dubai Land Department services. It is not legal advice.

Is this the same Cresco as the one in Ohio?

No. Cushman and Wakefield CRESCO Real Estate is a separate and unrelated commercial real estate firm in the United States. The two businesses share part of a name and nothing else.

What is Cresco Real Estate's Google rating?

The Dubai Business Profile showed 4.9 out of 5 from 95 Google reviews when it was read on 22 October 2026. Review counts move, so check the profile rather than this page if the number matters to you.

Verifying the brokerage is the first of the checks, not the last. The rest of the sequence for a United States buyer sits in buying property in Dubai from the United States, which collects every guide we have published for American buyers. If you would rather speak to someone, ask us.
