This policy explains what personal information Cresco collects through crescorealestate.us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have over it under United States state privacy laws.
Effective date: 11 August 2026. Last updated: 11 August 2026 (US office address added).

For any question about this policy or about your personal information, contact us at info@crescorealestate.us or on 1-833-CRESCO-6.
This policy applies to personal information we collect through crescorealestate.us and through emails and enquiries that begin on this website. It does not cover third party websites we link to, or our separate United Arab Emirates website at crescorealestate.ae, which publishes its own terms.
Two pages on this site invite you to submit information: the Cresco Academy signup and the sample reports request. When you use them we collect:
If you email or call us directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence and the contact details you used.
When you visit the site we automatically receive certain technical information through Google Analytics 4, delivered by Google Tag Manager:
This website does not take payments and does not ask for financial account numbers, payment card details, passport or national identity numbers, or Social Security numbers. If a purchase or a formal engagement follows, any such information is collected separately and directly, never through this website.
We do not knowingly collect personal information about children. This site is intended for adults considering property and investment decisions. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined under California law, and we do not use personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This site uses very few.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count unique visits | 2 years |
| _ga_<container id> | Google Analytics | Maintains the session state for the analytics property | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors within a 24 hour window | 24 hours |
We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags or social media tracking scripts on this website. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to read anything on this site.
We do not use automated decision making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Cresco does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We have not done so in the twelve months preceding the date of this policy. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone, including anyone under 16.
We also do not pass your enquiry to developers, mortgage brokers, partner agencies or lead buyers. Enquiries stay inside Cresco.
California law requires us to tell you, at or before the point we collect it, what categories of personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it and whether we sell or share it. This is that notice.
| Category | Examples we collect | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, IP address | To reply to you and to send material you requested | Up to 3 years from last contact |
| Commercial information | The markets, budgets or property types you tell us interest you | To send relevant information rather than generic material | Up to 3 years from last contact |
| Internet and network activity | Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, browser and device type | To understand which content is useful and improve the site | Up to 14 months in Google Analytics |
| Geolocation data | Approximate city level location derived from a truncated IP address | Site analytics only. We do not track precise location | Up to 14 months in Google Analytics |
| Audio, biometric, education, employment, sensitive personal information | None. We do not collect any of these | Not applicable | Not applicable |
Sources. Directly from you, and automatically from your device through Google Analytics. We do not buy personal information from data brokers or list vendors.
Cresco does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross context behavioural advertising. There is nothing for you to opt out of. If that ever changes we will publish a working Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link on this page and on every page of the site before the change takes effect.
A note on scope. The California Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses that meet certain revenue and volume thresholds. We may not currently meet them. We comply with it anyway, because we would rather hold ourselves to the higher standard than argue about whether we have to.
We share personal information only in these limited situations.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you the rights listed below. We extend these rights to every United States resident who contacts us, regardless of state, because it is simpler and fairer than checking your address first.
These rights are recognised in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, among others, with variation between states.
Email info@crescorealestate.us with the subject line Privacy Request, or call 1-833-CRESCO-6. Tell us which right you are exercising and which email address you used with us.
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why and take no more than a further 45 days.
To protect you, we verify requests before acting on them. Verification normally means confirming control of the email address we hold for you. We ask for the minimum needed and we do not retain verification material afterwards. An authorised agent may act for you if you provide written permission and we can verify your identity directly.
California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents ask about personal information disclosed to third parties for those parties own direct marketing purposes. We make no such disclosures.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share, the practical effect is that we already comply.
There is no common industry standard for Do Not Track browser signals, so we do not respond to them separately. GPC is the signal we honour.
We send email only to people who asked to hear from us. Every marketing email we send carries a working unsubscribe link and identifies Cresco clearly in the sender name and subject line. We honour unsubscribe requests promptly and we never use false or misleading header information. This is what the CAN SPAM Act requires and it is also simply how we prefer to operate. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.
We contact you by phone or text only where you have given us your number and asked us to. Consent to marketing calls or texts is never a condition of any purchase or service. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call and we will record it. Message and data rates may apply. We do not buy phone lists and we do not use automated dialling systems for marketing.
Cresco Real Estate LLC is registered in California, and our operating brokerage is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you contact us from the United States your information will be accessed and stored in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates, and by our service providers in the United States and the European Union.
The United Arab Emirates has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission. Where we transfer information from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses with our providers. By sending us an enquiry from outside the United Arab Emirates you understand your information will be transferred there so we can respond to you.
| Type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiry and correspondence | Up to 3 years from your last contact with us, then deleted |
| Marketing subscription | Until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record only, so we do not email you again |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted |
| Records we must keep by law | For the period the relevant law or regulator requires |
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to Cresco staff who need it and is protected by individual accounts and passwords. We keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is itself a security measure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay if a breach affecting your information occurs.
This site links to third party websites, including government portals, developer sites and property listing platforms. We do not control them and this policy does not apply to them. Read their privacy policies before giving them information.
Content on crescorealestate.us is general information about property markets. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice, it is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or property, and it should not be relied on as the basis for a transaction. Market figures change. Take independent professional advice before you act.
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights we will make it prominent on this page and, if you are on our list, tell you by email.
